Morehead State University Dining Commons
Project Description
Trace Creek was pleased to be named the general contractor for the Morehead State University Dining Commons. The new 25,000 square foot facility is known as The Rocky Adkins Dining Commons, and was built on the former site of Waterfield Hall. The new dining commons is built on top of a new parking garage, which can accommodate 400 vehicles over three levels, totaling 110,000 square feet.
The new dining commons has separate cooking stations to provide a greater variety of food in a larger, more open atmosphere. This new facility greatly increases Morehead State University’s ability to provide fresh, healthy food options for students, faculty and staff.
EOP Architects provided the design, and Tipton Associates provided interior architecture and design services.
